How does Empatyzer protect personal data and private conversations?
Empatyzer combines a privacy model with technical safeguards: conversations with Em and full assessment results stay with the user, and personal data are stored on AWS servers in the European Union, encrypted at rest and protected by several layers of security.
Managers, HR, administrators and other users cannot open anyone's conversations; administrators see the data needed to manage the organization, such as names, email addresses and questionnaire completion. Group data is aggregated and appears only for groups of at least five people. Connections use HTTPS, passwords are hashed with bcrypt and a random salt, and automatic logout after inactivity protects unattended screens. Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under GDPR safeguards, and the AI providers do not use Empatyzer data to train their models; these layers are designed to reduce risk.
