Security and session protection
What technical security measures does Empatyzer use?
Short answer
Empatyzer uses several technical layers: HTTPS for communication, passwords hashed with bcrypt and a random salt, encryption of data at rest and storage on AWS servers in the European Union.
After a period of inactivity, a ring around the user's photo or initials counts down five minutes and then logs the user out. Empatyzer also follows modern software development practices and procedures that limit the risk of human error, and admin rights do not open private conversations. These layers are designed to reduce risk.
