Where are Empatyzer personal data stored?
Short answer
Empatyzer stores personal data on servers in the European Union, on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
Stored data are encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS. Some of Empatyzer's service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area; in that case Empatyzer relies on safeguards permitted under the GDPR, in particular European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. Generating Em's answers is a separate step in which the AI providers, OpenAI and Anthropic, receive only the information needed for each answer and do not use it to train their models.
