Assessment, psychometrics and interpretation
What psychometric quality information does Empatyzer provide about its assessment?
Short answer
Empatyzer states that the psychometric part of its assessment is language-adapted and normalized on a sample of more than 3,000 working-age adults, with declared reliability above α 0.85 and ω 0.86.
Alpha (α) and omega (ω) are common coefficients of internal consistency: they show how consistently the questions of a scale measure the same characteristic. These parameters describe the questionnaire only; the usefulness of Em’s guidance and the micro-lessons is assessed separately, for example in user research. The assessment is non-clinical and intended for development.
