What does Empatyzer’s “Similarity Map” show about a group?

Short answer

Empatyzer’s “Similarity Map” shows the people in the selected group as dots: the closer two dots are, the more similar those people are overall, and the farther apart, the more they differ. Your own dot has an additional ring.

At group level, the map shows whether a department is compact, dispersed or split, and where “islands” of similar people form. Colors identify departments, and hovering over a dot shows the person’s name and department unless they have hidden their name on the map. Use the map to understand similarity and diversity in the group, not as a verdict on team quality or a forecast of relationships.
