Similarity Map
How do I hide my name from my dot on Empatyzer’s Similarity Map?
Short answer
Untick the visibility checkbox at the bottom of Empatyzer’s Similarity Map: your dot stays in the anonymous distribution, but other users can no longer see that it is yours.
Ticking the checkbox again shows your name. Each colored dot in “Personality Types” and “Motivators” is also one person, and those views have a visibility checkbox at the bottom too. The setting covers only whether your name is shown with your dot: it does not hide your account and is separate from “Do not show other users advice about me” in your profile preferences.
Step by step
- Click the three-person icon in the left vertical menu and select a group above the chat.
- Open the “Similarity Map” tab (or “Personality Types” or “Motivators”).
- Scroll to the visibility checkbox at the bottom of the view.
- Untick it: your dot stays on the chart, but other users no longer see your name. Tick it again to show your name.
