Short answer
An Empatyzer organization owner hands the organization over by inviting another person to become the new owner. The transfer takes effect only after that person accepts.
You start the transfer in organization management, and until the invitation is accepted you remain the owner with all owner rights. Transferring ownership keeps the organization running when you no longer want to manage it, for example before you leave it or delete your own account.
Step by step
- Open organization management as the current owner.
- Start the ownership transfer and choose the person who should take over.
- Wait for that person to accept the invitation.
- After acceptance, that person becomes the owner; until then, you remain the owner.
