How do I delete an organization in Empatyzer?
Short answer
The owner deletes an Empatyzer organization in the “Delete organization” section of organization management, after first removing its members. Deletion is irreversible and also affects other people.
If the organization should continue without you, transfer ownership instead; the transfer takes effect once the new owner accepts. Removing members does not delete their Empatyzer accounts. Deleting an organization is different from leaving someone else's organization and from deleting your own account.
Step by step
- Open organization management for the organization you own.
- Remove the remaining members in “Members”, or transfer ownership if the organization should continue.
- Choose “Delete organization”.
- Confirm only if you accept that the organization cannot be restored; it is then deleted permanently.
