Troubleshooting common product issues
Why can’t I find a particular person in Empatyzer’s person selector?
Short answer
Empatyzer’s person selector lists only people from your currently selected organization who have completed the required assessment stage and have not turned off advice about themselves. Check these conditions in order.
Search by first or last name, position or email. If someone has turned off advice about themselves, others do not receive advice about them, and that choice should be respected. If the person has not joined Empatyzer or finished the assessment yet, you can still prepare the conversation by describing their behavior to Em or pasting in a message they wrote.
Step by step
- Check the selected organization in the menu under your photo or initials and switch to the right one.
- Click the two-person icon and search above the chat by name, position or email.
- Ask the person, or check “Members” if you manage the organization, whether they belong to it and have completed the assessment.
- If they have turned off advice about themselves, respect that choice.
- If everything checks out and they are still missing, report it through “Leave feedback” so the team can look into it.
