Tomasz believes a good answer starts with the exact question. Samuel worries that without the wider system, such a concise answer will be misleading. Both defend rigour, but start from opposite ends. Give the short answer the other person needs first. Then show the assumptions, dependencies and conditions that could change it. This keeps the answer meaningful without letting context hide it.
