Assessment and results

Your own profile and self-understanding

How to open and read your Empatyzer profile: thematic cards, markers, plus and minus signs, questions for Em in the “About me” context and when you can retake the assessment.

  1. How do I open my own profile in Empatyzer?

Click the one-person icon in Empatyzer’s left vertical menu, or choose “About me” above the chat; your profile, “Talents and traits”, opens on the right.

  2. What can I ask Em about in the “About me” mode?

In the “About me” context, Em, the AI coach in Empatyzer, answers questions about you: your reactions, motivations and demotivators, internal tensions, talents, ways of thinking and deciding, and why certain situations or people affect you so strongly.

  3. What cards are on my Empatyzer profile home screen?

Your Empatyzer profile home screen has a welcome card, the “Your results on charts” card and thematic cards that describe you, for example your motivations, internal tensions, leadership style or resilience.

  4. Why are my Empatyzer profile cards different from a colleague’s?

Empatyzer does not show the same thematic cards to everyone: their set and number depend on each person’s profile, so a colleague may see cards that you do not, and the other way round.

  5. What does the pulsing dot or checkmark on an Empatyzer profile card mean?

On an Empatyzer profile card, a small pulsing dot in the upper-right corner marks content you have not read yet, and a checkmark marks content you have already read.

  6. How do I move between sections of an expanded Empatyzer profile card?

Inside an expanded Empatyzer profile card, use the left and right arrows to move between subsections, or pick one from the list; the small X in the upper-right area closes the card.

  7. What do the dot, plus and minus marks mean in my Empatyzer profile?

In Empatyzer profile cards, an empty dot marks a neutral description of a trait or mechanism, a plus marks a potential benefit and a minus marks a possible cost, risk or tension.

  8. Why does Empatyzer say that every trait has two sides?

Empatyzer says every trait has two sides because no trait is good or bad in itself: its benefits and costs depend on the role, goal, environment and people involved.

  9. Can I retake the Empatyzer assessment?

Only when Empatyzer makes a new questionnaire available to you: the assessment is normally completed once, and the “Surveys” section shows whether and when you can complete a new one.
