# Which AI providers does Empatyzer work with?

Empatyzer uses OpenAI and Anthropic to provide some of its AI features, and these providers do not use data submitted by Empatyzer to train their models.

Empatyzer passes them only the information needed to generate the requested answer and limits data that could directly identify the user. Some of Empatyzer's service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area; in that case Empatyzer relies on safeguards permitted under the GDPR, in particular European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. Personal data are stored on servers in the European Union, and AI providers keep the data they receive for the period set by the service configuration and Empatyzer's agreements with them.
