# What does the pulsing dot or checkmark on an Empatyzer profile card mean?

On an Empatyzer profile card, a small pulsing dot in the upper-right corner marks content you have not read yet, and a checkmark marks content you have already read.

Hover over the marker to see a tooltip with its status. This shows at a glance which parts of your profile are still new to you.
