# How do I set my department, manager, role or project group in Empatyzer?

In Empatyzer, choose “Go to admin” → “Me” → “Work” and click “Edit” next to the right organization; for your personal organization, use the “Private” tab. Owners can also use the “Your role” section in organization management.

You can set your department, direct manager, join date, professional role or specialization and project group, and search the list of professions by typing. If your manager has already been added to the organization but has not finished registering, you can select their email address.

## Steps

1. Click your photo or initials at the top right and choose “Go to admin”.
2. Open “Me”, then “Work” (or “Private” for your personal organization).
3. Click “Edit” next to the organization you want to update.
4. Set your department, direct manager, join date, role and project group, and save; advice and lessons in that organization will take these details into account.
