# How do I delete my Empatyzer account?

You can delete your Empatyzer account at any time at the bottom of “Me” in the admin panel, and the deletion is irreversible. It is different from leaving an organization or deleting an organization you own.

Because the account cannot be restored, you may want to review your assessment results first. If you own an organization that should keep running, transfer its ownership before deleting your account; the transfer takes effect once the new owner accepts. Once the account is deleted, your data is no longer available in the active system or in the organizations you belonged to; it is kept longer only where the law, settlements, security or legal claims require it. Deleting your account does not automatically end a paid plan bought for an organization.

## Steps

1. Click your photo or initials at the top right and choose “Go to admin”.
2. Open “Me”.
3. Scroll to the account deletion option at the bottom of the page.
4. Confirm the deletion only if you are sure; the account is then deleted permanently.
