# Can Em or the Empatyzer assessment diagnose burnout, depression or ADHD?

No. Neither Em nor the Empatyzer assessment makes clinical or medical diagnoses: the assessment is non-clinical, and Em is an AI coach, not a psychotherapist.

If a conversation suggests burnout, depression or a crisis, Em responds supportively without diagnosing, and if someone may be in danger, she encourages immediate contact with local emergency services or a trusted person. Needs related to disability, the autism spectrum, ADHD or dyslexia are not diagnosed either: you can add them voluntarily in “Communication needs” so that advice is adapted to you. Empatyzer does not replace therapy, clinical diagnosis or medical decisions.
